Bearing sections

4. Axial bearing of bearing section – multi-row radial-thrust ball bearing of enhanced load-carrying capacity. The company has organized ball bearing production. Varying different axial bearing members (race groove profiles, ball diameters, race sizes) we have managed at the stage of designing and production to:

  • increase significantly load-carrying capacity of axial bearings over series-produced bearings of the same sizes;

  • increase standard size quantity: the company produces bearings of non-standard sizes for both: new designs and repair of imported bearing sections.
  • choose optimal material: bearings are produced out of imported silicomolybdic steel of vacuum arc- remelting having high impact strength and durability.
  • provide accuracy: due to high accuracy while production of bearing races, distribution of load among rows is achieved and correspondingly, high load-carrying capacity and reliability.

5. Lower reinforced radial bearing impregnated with hard alloy plates is mounted at minimum possible distance from bit. The bearing advantages:
  • High mechanical properties of cage. The radial bearing cage is produced of alloy steel maintaining high hardness and strength after sintering process, allowing cutting the bearing thread and using it as pin nut of bearing section.
  • High wear resistance. Friction surfaces of the bearings are reinforced with hard alloy plates.
6. Forged blanks for bearing section shafts and cardan joint shafts. The shaft blanks are forged on radial forging machine. During forging, internal metal structure is compressed, inner fibers take the form of the shaft surface, increasing significantly mechanical properties. The result is reduction of the shaft damage risks at places of diameters change.
7. All critical threaded connections are assembled using glue. While HDM assembling, threaded fixatives of Loctite and 3M Scotch-WeldTM companies of different fixing degree are used.
